FITS (Framework for ICT Technical Support)  Implementation

We offer bespoke support in helping schools to improve their technical support and plan for the strategic development of ICT, with the aim of facilitating effective network management and cost efficiency savings, based on industry best practice and the Framework for ICT Technical Support. We will help you to assess your school's current position regarding ICT and technical support, provide FITS training for your technical support team, and help you action plan for the effective implementation of the FITS processes.

The package includes a comprehensive audit of the school’s existing support. We will then identify areas for development  and work with the senior leadership team and technical support manager to produce an action plan for prioritising the implementation of FITS processes. A schedule of follow up visits will be agreed between the school and the consultant to help monitor progress against the agreed action plan and milestones.

ICT Self-review and ICT Mark Assessment Preparation

With ICT Mark assessor accreditation, we are able to support schools working with the NAACE Self-review Framework (formerly the Becta SRF). The ICT Mark assessor will help you review your school's current position on the use of ICT and identify areas for development. We will facilitate the school in drawing up an action plan for moving forward. When the school considers that it is ready for assessment, the consultant will assist the school in its preparation for the ICT Mark assessment process.

ICT Skills for Support Staff

We can provide ICT training for support staff in the common Office packages, either as one to one training or workshops for groups of staff.

One to One IT tuition

We can help individuals in either the public or private sectors to make progress in their use of their computers. No matter what your level of expertise, whether you are a complete beginner or wish to extend your skills in a particular application, we can offer tailor made tuition at competitive rates. We offer tuition on both Windows and Mac platforms.

Web design service and content  management training

Working  with our web designer Abbie Thoms of Polyspiral, we are able to offer a web design service to enable you have a unique looking website that meets your design. After an initial consultation to establish your requirements, Abbie will create an individually designed website for your organisation (no templates).  As part of the package, we can offer training in content management so you are able to keep your website up to date and add content without needing to have any technical knowledge or knowledge of coding. We can also advise and support you with web hosting, search engine optimisation and website maintenance.
